How Does it Work?
Your email is re-directed to our mail servers by changing MX records; our servers then check all mail for inbound viruses, Trojans, worms, spam content and other threats. Once checked the good mail is then forwarded to your mail server. All rejected mail is stored in a junk folder. Users can then release any required mail using a simple web interface. This prevents unwanted and malicious junk mail ever reaching your network; saving your bandwidth as well time wasted trawling through unwanted email.
Outbound email can also be check and a disclaimer added. Should a "zombie" virus system infect your network, it could send out spam, phishing or virus-laden email, you could see your email server blacklisted and your internet connection shut down. Our email security servers can monitor all outbound traffic to ensure your connection isn't used to spam the world inadvertently.
